چکیده
objective: whilst many questions and doubts still remain, today the use of dental im-plants has gained an increasing popularity amongst patients as well as dentists. the aim of this study is to analyze the survival rate in using such implants over a 10 year period. materials and methods: in this study, 3050 iti implants placed in 1000 patients with the mean age of 49.5 years (54.4% males and 44.6% females) during 1050 stages were evalu-ated for the survival rate. the present study is a descriptive, time based analysis of all the files of patients that have been treated using dental implants over a period of 10 years. general information, number of implants in each jaw, type of implant surface, type of edentulous area, time span of prosthodontic therapy and the endurance of the implants were gathered. results: incidence of failure was as low as 2% and the number of implant failures was 23 implants (0.7%). these failures were seen in 13 implants in the upper jaw of 12 patients and 10 implants in the lower jaw of nine patients. in other words, the comprehensive sur-vival rate was seen in 98% of the patients and 99.3% of the implants. conclusion: the use of dental implants in treatment of missing teeth is favorable regard-less of the subject's age, sex and type of the edentulous area and a very high survival rate seems feasible.

AIM The aim of this 10-year study was to compare the failure, success and complication rates between patients having lost their teeth due to periodontitis or other reasons. MATERIAL AND METHODS Fifty-three patients who received 112 hollow screw implants (HS) of the ITI Dental Implant System were divided into two groups: group A - eight patients with 21 implants having lost their teeth due to ...
متن کاملSurvival of the Brånemark implant in partially edentulous jaws: a 10-year prospective multicenter study.
A total of 127 partially edentulous patients, treated according to the Brånemark protocol, was followed for 10 years after completion of prosthetic treatment. The patients ranged in age from 18 to 70 years, and 57% were female. Four hundred sixty-one implants were placed in 56 maxillae and 71 mandibles. In 125 patients, 163 fixed partial prostheses were attached to the implants; a majority of t...

10-year survival of total ankle arthroplasties
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE There is an ongoing need to review large series of total ankle replacements (TARs) for monitoring of changes in practice and their outcome. 4 national registries, including the Swedish Ankle Register, have previously reported their 5-year results. We now present an extended series with a longer follow-up, and with a 10-year survival analysis. PATIENTS AND METHODS Record...

PURPOSE This study evaluated the long-term survival and success of different implant-supported prostheses supported by ITI implants. MATERIALS AND METHODS Two hundred fifty consecutive patients were rehabilitated using implant-supported prostheses. Seven hundred fifty-nine implants were loaded. Single-tooth prostheses (n = 106), cantilever fixed partial prostheses (n = 42), fixed partial pros...
متن کاملOne-Year Survival Prediction of Myocardial Infarction
Myocardial infarction is still one of the leading causes of death and morbidity. The early prediction of such disease can prevent or reduce the development of it. Machine learning can be an efficient tool for predicting such diseases. Many people have suffered myocardial infarction in the past. Some of those have survived and others were dead after a period of time. A machine learning system ca...
